Dancing and Swapping

I was reluctant to participate in Betty the Wood Fairy's angel swap.  I lose track of "dates" and deadlines in December and I didn't want to disappoint.  I'm glad I decided to swap because Nancy sent me the most beautiful wood fairy for my tree! I used her photo (I hope that's okay, Nancy) because it is better than mine.  Yay for friends who like to swap.
Nancy graciously emailed and said something like, "Don't go to a lot of trouble, Pom Pom.  You have a lot going on."  How kind!  Her generous words inspired me.  Bill said, "It isn't really an angel or a fairy."  Ha!  True!  Oh well, Nancy likes my "girls" and their hearts.
We had Advent at our house on Sunday.  Miss Bug wore her blue shoes so she could dance to Grampy's guitar carols!
Sweet Christie and Jeff came, too!
As Grampy strummed and sang, the girls danced with glee!  JOY!

 Notice sneaky Uncle Jeff?

I have two more days of school and then "let the festivities continue" here at home.  I had my evaluation/observation at school this week and that is always stressful with lots of paperwork and prep.  This Saturday night, three grands are sleeping over.  Cookies!  Christmas books!  Walks!  Hugs and kisses!  Yay!
I hope you are enjoying the day-to-day joy of the Advent season!  Thank you for coming by!

Sweet pictures!

I love my doll you sent, complete with GIRLS! You know all about girls.

Enjoy your time off school, and know you will live it up, enjoying your time with the families. Dance, dance.

Pommy....I LOVE your girls (angels or fairies). They don't have to have halos to make them angels, do they? I'd say you've got several angels and fairies dancing in your living room with Grampy strumming his guitar. Love this picture of home and family life. Thank you, it warms my heart.

Well except for all of that paperwork. Yuk! At Christmas too. So glad you are almost at the finish line for awhile. I am excited. Have a fun day and enjoy all of your granny moments.

This was such a lovely swap - both you and Nancy were fun and made pretty gifts. Thankyou so much for joining in. I am on holiday now until Christmas day (!) working then through Christmas/New Year but it's going to be fun at work and hubby is cooking Christmas dinner 25/12 for the evening. Your little fairies look so pretty, I bet your house is full of excitement. Betty x

Oh we must do some dancing this weekend. Haven't done any of that in ages! Bill looks very relaxed and well. You have weathered many storms this term- and to finish with appraisal- phew! I hope your fairy will watch over you well and merrily x

I would be dancing if I had some of those cute outfits your grandgirls are wearing! Why do they not make things like that for my aged woman????

Sneaky Uncle Joe gave me a good laugh. I think we should post that one on FB and tag him. ;) hehe
